Whatsapp is looking to add a new feature that can make you schedule

messages for later. They would be needing a design process for this feature.

Create a schedule option that can easily be access

by long pressing on the chat you want to set up a schedule for.

Identification of problem

I identified the problem present in the current version of the app and frame a problem

statement for it.

Resaerch

This step includes finding out solution the given problem. Such as refrences and what

other apps would do.

Ideas

This step includes finding out solution the given problem. Such as reference and what

other apps would do.

Sketching/ Wireframe

Here i draw my ideas in paper and later draw the wireframe.

Designing

I then draw the design on figma for the final looks and feel of the sketch.

Analysis

The design made are now analysed for an error. If thier is anything missing that may

contradict my solution to the given problem statment.

Handsoff

After all the steps mentioned above i would try to check the case study proposed

my self and then hands off.

Scheduled allows you to auto send, but can also remind you of the message

you set up.

Scheduled gives you the chance to add something else before the big day

arrives

If you are a take away offering a deal then friday and saturday nights could be

your best time to reach your audience.

When user long clicks on a chat/

broadcast/group. The timer icon jumbs in

for the user to schedule a message.

The schedule and timer pops up for the user to

set a date and time to deliver message. Then

the user can click on compose message to write

a message. Note that the user can still come back

to this page to change the date and time

After the user has already compose the message and has sent it. The user can Re- edit the messgae before the given Delivery time.

Message has already been delivered and cant be edited again. Except a new message

New users

New users would have to learn about the new improvement and possibly watch or ask

returning users about it.

New users should have something new to explore and check out

Returning Users
